2010 Forecast from Colorado State University
Read the 2008 NOAA Forecast


The Colorado State University's Tropical Meteorology Project published their latest forecast for the 2010 Hurricane season on June 2, 2010.

The CSU team is foreseeing an above average hurricane season for 2010. The number of Named Storms will be 18, of which 10 will be Hurricanes and 5 will be major hurricanes (category 3 or higher).

The average hurricane season for the Atlantic is 11 named storms, of which 6 become hurricanes and 2 reach major hurricane status.
